Remember when partisan Armond Budish shut down a teen girl for having a different point of view?

Armond_Budish_2011-03-11Most everyone should remember Armond Budish’s historic budget wreaking and his horrible record on jobs, but in case you forgot read here for a quick recap. Budish now wants to be the new Cuyahoga County Executive, replacing Ed Fitzgerald.

While Budish was Speaker of the Ohio House and Ted Strickland was governor, there were 1,921,483 total statewide unemployment claims from January 2009 to December 2010, of which 181,358 were from Cuyahoga County. Since Governor John Kasich took office unemployment claims have been cut nearly in half.

The real hypocrisy now is that Armond Budish’s latest series of attack ads say, among other lies, that his opponent Jack Schron has a “partisan” agenda.

Jack Schron has 30 years of experience as a job creator as head of his family’s manufacturing company, Jergens, on top of being a 28 year veteran of the Army. He even served on his local school board for 12 years and is now a member of the newly formed Cuyahoga County Council.

And despite Budish’s lies calling Schron “partisan”, Schron is also the only candidate in the race who was endorsed by both Democratic and Republican leaders. You can see here that eight Democratic leaders in Cuyahoga County have publicly endorsed him.

Armond Budish, on the other hand, is a serial partisan politician with no real accomplishments and zero tolerance for anyone other than himself.

This video offers a taste of how Armond Budish treats people who think differently than he does.

Recognition on the house floor is common practice. High school sports teams and outstanding citizens are typically honored by their elected officials and Ms. Trisler, an outstanding young lady from Ohio, was no different.

Even the ACLU came to her defense and blasted Budish, saying it was an “unprecedented act of partisanship”. Jim Heath covered the story at the time and interviewed Trisler and the ACLU, which you can see here.

Remember that Budish is just another part of the Dimora/Cuyahoga County cesspool that the people of Cuyahoga County got rid of by passing the new County reform charter five years ago.

Kudos to Jack Schron calling for a further investigation into Fitzgerald’s unresolved IG report mess and calling out Budish who still has Fitzgerald as his number one cheerleader.

It’s time for real change in Cuyahoga County.
