With all of the lies that President Obama told about Obamacare now exposed, and a clear majority of Americans disapproving of the law, you would think that Democrats would want to stay away from the topic.
But not the Ohio Democratic Party. Today, they jumped all over Lt. Governor Mary Taylor and claimed that she “lied” about Obamacare.

So what is the supposed lie Taylor told? That health insurance rates in Ohio will increase by 13% instead of 7%-9% reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Really?
THAT’S the big “lie” that Ohio Dems are furious about? A difference of a couple hundred dollars per year?
Compare that to what President Obama promised would happen to health insurance premiums.
That’s right. President Obama said the average family would spend LESS on health insurance. $2500 less. You would think Ohio Democrats would be shy about pointing to an article that says that insurance premiums will continue to increase.
Speaking of Obamacare lies, how about some of the others told by Obama?
- “If you like your current health care plan, you can keep it.” This one was named “Lie of the Year” by the normally left-leaning Politifact.
- “What we said was, you can keep (your plan) if it hasn’t changed since the law passed.” This one was given Politifact’s worst rating of “Pants on fire”.
- “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” President Obama finally admitted this wasn’t true either. Many people will have to switch doctors.
- “My health plan will not add a dime to the deficit.” The Government Accountability Office estimates that the law will add $6.2 trillion to the deficit long term.
So…Ohio Democrats. Do you really want to open a discussion about Obamacare lies?
