Republicans can count…

…and pretty darn well, it turns out.

From the Dispatch:

A memo sent to members of the Budget Planning and Management Commission, the bipartisan legislative panel that is supposed to come up with potential options for dealing with the 2012-13 budget shortfall, calculates the amount of one-time money in the current budget at $8.4 billion, the same figure reached by Senate Republican fiscal experts.

This is one time I wish Republicans were wrong.

It’s unfathomable that Ohio’s state government allowed itself to blow up to such a level that someone believed using $8.4 billion in one-time money was actually a good idea.
