Last week the folks at Plunderbund noticed a similarity between part of the new Ohio license plate design and the logo of Building a Better Ohio. Naturally they saw it as the latest vast right-wing conspiracy from Kasich to dig at government employees by putting a map of Ohio inside the O. Our friends at GOHP did a great job pointing out how ridiculous this idea was a few days ago.
But maybe Plunderbund was on to something, as the symbol of the conspiracy is evident in more places than we had imagined.
The latest appearance of the ominous symbol comes at Tip Top Kitchen & Cocktails. Located just a couple of blocks from the Statehouse, Tip Top’s sign features an eerily similar Ohio map inside the O as Building a Better Ohio had.
Clearly Tip Top is just another arm of this conspiracy.
And who is the owner so clearly in on the plan? That would be Elizabeth Lessner, owner of several restaurants in Columbus. Not only is she the owner, but apparently Ms Lessner is also a double agent! What other explanation could there be for her public opposition to SB5 or for the support shown for ‘Occupy Columbus’ on Tip Top’s Facebook page? The only logical answer is that Lessner has successfully infiltrated these efforts on behalf of Gov. Kasich and his allies.
With this component of the Building a Better Ohio logo more prevalent than anyone had previously imagined, it’s now clear that the Plunder-pals have uncovered a great conspiracy in our state. The only question now is just how many others are in on this plot.
